The best thing 32 snowboard boots have going for them is that pro riders oversee the creation of all their snowboarding gear. The sponsored team of ThirtyTwo boarders has a lot of say as to what goes into their equipment, especially their boots.

This means that all the frivolous stuff is gone. No bells, no whistles, and no little strappy designs that serve no purpose other than to look strappy.

ThirtyTwo snowboarding boots are all about performance and core construction, leaving all the other unnecessary stuff by the wayside. This helps to not only make a more stream-lined product, but also to offset the costs of production, meaning you don't have to pay through the nose to own a pair of ThirtyTwo men's, women's, or kids snowboard boots.

ThirtyTwo STW Boa Women's Snowboarding Boots Review

These are serious, no-nonsense boots for ladies looking to take their shredding game to the next level. In terms of comfort, performance, and durability, these are one of the best snowboarding boots ThirtyTwo makes, including both men's and women's.

The boa lacing system is one of modern snowboarding's best innovations. All snowboarding boots should have them as they allow you to control the fit of your boots with the turn of a dial.

Never mind double knots, triple knots, or any kind of knot at all–with the STW Boa snowboard boot, all you gotta do is crank the knob, and you can even do that in a pair of mittens.

Another great comfort feature of this model is the construction of the liner. This triple-layered goodie provides an amazing amount of warmth and dry protection for your feet, no matter how long you stay on the slopes.

Some of the ThirtyTwo STW Boa's other great features include:

  • Inner Ankle Lacing system
  • 3D Molded Tongue
  • Ultralon Level 1 liners

With the super easy-to-use boa lacing system, you don't have to worry about lacing your kids' boots up every morning and untying them every night–they can do it all by themselves with a simple twist of the boa knob. This gives you some freedom to do your own riding at the same time as it gives your child some always appreciated independence.

And the Boa lacing system will never loosen up on the mountain–it will stay tight all day long!

Here are a few more great features of the ThirtyTwo Boa Kids Snowboarding Boots:

  • EVA foam liners integrated into the boot

ThirtyTwo Prion Men's Snowboarding Boots: Reviews & Ratings

These are, bar none, the best men's snowboarding boots for under $100 on the market. If you're looking for a new pair of riding kicks, but you don't have a lot of money to do so, then take a close look at the Prion model–we guarantee it will be love at first sight.

Binary

With a simple three-tone color scheme and streamlined design, these boots are really good-looking. Not that this is the most major factor in choosing your boots–well, come on, it kind of is, isn't it?–but this is just a bit of icing on this deliciously high-performing cake.

The Prions are also unbelievably comfortable boots. Honestly, this boot is so advanced you'd hardly believe it was so cheap.

But, in the end, you'll find out that this is indeed a boot for beginners who need something to tie them over until they can afford some Salomon or Burton snowboard boots.

Like a few other ThirtyTwo snowboard boots, the Prion works amazingly well when it's broken in, but it also has a tendency to fall apart after a fairly short amount of time. Be sure to keep your eyes open for this kind of wear and tear, as it may affect your performance as well as your comfort.

But for a little over $80, there's no reason the Prions can't be your first–or second and third–snowboarding boots.

A few of the ThirtyTwo Prion's other great features include:

  • Level F footbed
  • 3D Molded tongue
  • Level 1 Heat-formable liners

ThirtyTwo Snowboard Boots: Summary

OK… ThirtyTwo doesn't make the best snowboarding boots in the world. No arguing that.

But they're reasonably priced, comfortable & functional. What more could you ask for?

ThirtyTwo STW BOA 2014 - 2010 Review by The Good Ride

This is the BOA version of the 32 Exus. Just like we say with the exus there are many boots out there in this price range so look around and try on as many of these as you can. If the STW is comfortable for you then why not. It's all about comfort at this point and the STW isn't bad in terms of performance in this price range. 32 also makes some of the wider snowboard boots out there so if you have wide feet they are worth considering. If you have more narrow feet then you might want to consider another company. We like the rubber sole because it seems to have good traction in most conditions you will experience. The STW isn't going to blow any minds but if you want an easy in the easy out entry-level boot then the STW might work for you.
